Thanks for checking out my website! My business is based on two concepts -
guitar tuition, and guitar set-ups & repair. I'm based in Lilbourne, Rugby, UK.
By the end of EVERY guitar lesson, I want each person to walk out with new ideas,
a solid practice structure, and most importantly, the inspiration to want to pick up the guitar, and keep playing! (Check out the TUITION page for more info)

Guitar Lessons

My lessons are available to all ages and abilities, I have taught people who have never played the guitar before, to advanced players. My lessons range from 30 minutes to 2 hour sessions depending on your age, learning style, and level of ability. This gives us plenty of time to learn new styles, techniques and concepts.
I teach many genres of acoustic or electric guitar and specialise in jazz, blues, country, bluegrass and fingerstyle acoustic. I also have a sound knowledge of music theory, and can teach you how to use this to advance your playing ability.
Whether you are looking to pick up the guitar for the first time, brake out of ruts you may be stuck in or want to add more flavour and colour to your playing, my aim is to help you to become a more complete musician... and importantly, enjoy the process!
Set-ups, Repairs & Maintenance
I take pride in creating personalised guitar setup services that cater to your specific guitar and playing style, ensuring that you have the best playing experience. You are more than welcome to stay during your visit to play, talk all things guitars, or watch whilst I complete fretwork on your instrument... No instrument leaves my workshop until it is playing EXACTLY as you want it to...!
Guitar Setups
Investing in a professional guitar setup can truly transform your playing experience. A good setup involves a range of adjustments to components such as the neck, bridge and nut, to ensure that they work together in harmony.
With this, I can improve your guitar's action, intonation and tone, making it easier to play, feel great and sound even better.
Fretwork
Don't fret - I have you covered for all your guitar fretwork needs, from fret levelling to re-profiling and polishing. I can also provide a complete re-fretting service if necessary.

Bespoke Services
My services are not just limited to standard set-ups...! Whether you have a problem with your electrics or you think your instrument is "beyond repair" - no job is too big or small, just get in touch!
I work alongside a variety of luthiers, most notably Robbie Gladwell (Guitarist Magazine) so even if you require a service that goes beyond my areas of speciality, I have the contacts to ensure you always have the best possible expert to work on your guitar!
